July 1, 2019

 Barry was happy to go and spend the night at Firefly and didn't disagree when I said that I wanted to take two cars, so that I could stay longer. I have the place just about set up now, so I didn't go in with a whole chore list. I actually spent Saturday morning down there getting everything finished up, so Sunday night was just about relaxing. This morning, I got him off to work and then I did my morning chores --- just down there instead of here. I took my 30 minute walk, and then I walked on the beach for a few minutes. I did my Boogie Board writing on the deck. I had to come back and finish up a few things for the Maid Zone to get here today or I would have stayed an hour longer. 

 I heard from Tori Friday night and from Angela this morning. 

 Now that we have the TV down there, Barry seems pretty happy. 

 Faith brought Michael and Daniel to Goodtimes, and Noah came. I watched a movie with Faith, Michael and Daniel, and after they went home Noah and I played Rook. 

 Daniel has his first job, and bought a Gucchi belt with his first paycheck. 

 Noah said he went a long time not drinking soda, "But then Root Beer came into my life."

June 27, 2019 Amber sent me a text to let me know she received her birthday cards. She said, "Thank you so much for my bday cards. It made my day getting them, especially the one from second Sunday. I have been homesick since I can't be home for my birthday. I love you, Grannie!"  Heard from Andrew and Skyler and Tori and Kennedy. June 18, 2019 Got a text from Tori yesterday! She said they are having a lot of rain, that work was good, and that she'd had a yum lunch. :-)  Heard from Beverly this morning.  Got to have a nice phone visit with Beth yesterday afternoon. She'd had a crazy Friday at work and had anticipated Monday being troublesome, but it turned out not to be.  Got a text from Angela this morning. Heard from Zak. He said he was planning to come by this evening, but since Barry and I are planning to go to Firefly at 5:00, he's going to come over for supper Wednesday night.

May 6, 2019 ~Brittany's graduation. The processional. Brittany is standing in front of her seat, along with others as they wait for everyone to get in. She has seen us and waved to us. I blew her a kiss and she blew one back, which made me jump for joy. Later, on Facebook, I said that it had tickled me that she blew a kiss back and she said that it had tickled her that it had tickled me.  ~Kennedy came over yesterday and looked through albums for a pictures for a present she is making Beverly for Mother's Day. We had so much fun enjoying the pictures together. When she hugged me bye she said that looking through the albums had almost been cathartic.  ~We met Jon Marc's parents although we really only ended up speaking to his mother. His father sat on the other side and he and Jon Marc visited a lot. They left before it was over.  ~Enjoyed visiting with Paul and Kara and got to see Kim and John and Noah.
