April 17, 2019

 Had a really nice chat yesterday with a lady that works for Amazon. I was appreciative and it made her happy. 

 Went and had my hair done. Stopped in at the Flour Girl bakery and thanked them for the cupcakes they donated to the tennis tournament. 

 Had a nice email visit with Adele Brown.

 Brittany started her first day at HDR today! When they were here for Second Sunday Supper I said, and "Jon Marc's going to take a picture of you." When she sent me the picture, she siad, "Jon Marc said, 'My job is done. I did the one thing Grannie told me to do." 

 Beverly and JA made it safely to San Diego and have their new address. She's not sure they'll stay in that RV park, but it is less than ten miles from the jobs that most excite her, so they're going to give it a try. 

 Got to hug Kennedy. She's getting ready for her pop up show tomorrow night. 

 Little text visit with Tori. She's still fighting her cough, so we laughed about whiskey and a hot toddy. 

 Morgan posted some pictures of Davis --- he has a tooth coming through, enjoys avocado is sitting up stronger and stronger.

 Amber sent me a message about a trip she is making to Mobile, and getting together with Papa and I while she is here.

 Tyler sent me a sticker when I sent him a message.

 Faith sent me her phone number.

 Evan and Chelsea came over for supper Monday night. Evan and Barry had a good time looking at the program re: the 3D printer. James gave us lots of smiles, and Jaden played ball with me and gave me kisses. 

 They came over for What's Left on Monday Night Supper. He gave me a kiss before he went through the gate between our house and Phew! When all three of them were on the other side, I closed the gate, and told him, "bye," in my best "Grannie's going to miss you," voice. He looked at me, decided I needed another kiss, and walked back towards the gate with his little face lifted. Just the sweetest thing.

April 24, 2019 Yesterday morning I got a video text from Andrew. He was on a hike, and walking a trail flanked by fields of tall stalked, yellow flowers, as far as the eye could see. He was determined to get to the top of the mountain --- and when he got to the bottom, he saw a sign about mountain lions in the area. It was a fun visit.  Brittany flies out Sunday for her first work trip!  Davis is crawling!!! Talked to Beverly for a few minutes, and to Beth for a few minutes. Chris and Tyler and Wylder were over in the evening for a few minutes, to pick up a package.

July 15, 2019 When Morgan walked in with Davis last Thursday, he leaned over towards me --- coming to me. (Pretty much right back to his Mama, but he recognized me, and that made me happy.)  When she headed out the front door, I said his name, and he turned around and looked. Beverly said that Kennedy told her Papa and I always seem so happy to see her. Shawn said that he is moving into a house and has a new job and should be able to get insurance on his car this week.  I went and spent the day --- or part of it --- with Beth at Morgan's house. We visited and had fun playing with Davis. (and Mally. She still brings me toys to throw for her.) He was busy pushing his car around. He seemed happy to see me and when I got to Morgan's door, to leave, he started to fuss.  We had Second Sunday Supper on Saturday, so that Rodney could be here, and we had a houseful, even though it was a rainy weekend. November 4, 2019 Had a nice long Facebook chat with Shawn this weekend. Ashlyn texting with Tyler. Andrew and Annette and Brittany and Skyler pulling together for Tyler. Angela and Kennedy came over and visited with us for a little while yesterday. Morgan and Angela took Kennedy to Bellingrath to take her graduation photos. Morgan told Angela that they have about 400 shots. ;-)  Got to have a voice visit with Beverly. They have settled in to their new park for the 30 days that they will be there --- or rather, have successfully set up the RV. They left some things, including their cable, in place at the other park, and are leaving a lot of things packed up in their car and truck.
