May 30, 2019 Jamie Franco-Zamudio reacted with a heart to my comment on her post, and Mark and Robin Dannahower and Peggy Lyon liked my comments on Mark's post. I spent some writing time there this morning. Barry and I are going to leave in the morning for BBQ competition in Georgia, just outside of Atlanta. He's kind of looking forward to the even now, and I think we'll have a good time. Got to see Beth for a minute yesterday. Got a text kiss from Beverly.
May 6, 2019 ~Brittany's graduation. The processional. Brittany is standing in front of her seat, along with others as they wait for everyone to get in. She has seen us and waved to us. I blew her a kiss and she blew one back, which made me jump for joy. Later, on Facebook, I said that it had tickled me that she blew a kiss back and she said that it had tickled her that it had tickled me. ~Kennedy came over yesterday and looked through albums for a pictures for a present she is making Beverly for Mother's Day. We had so much fun enjoying the pictures together. When she hugged me bye she said that looking through the albums had almost been cathartic. ~We met Jon Marc's parents although we really only ended up speaking to his mother. September 30, 2019 When Morgan was here last week, as I hugged her bye I was making a little poem/song and ended with "You are the best, you just need some rest." She used those words as a tag in a post she put in the joy journal, about Davis sleeping through the night for three nights in a row. Makes me feel so good and useful. Angela is home. She is at Phew! and I am so content with the state of the house. It is clean and finished and pretty --- I'm really tickled with my decorating choices --- and while it has some little oddities that might get in the way of being a perfect forever home, those oddities aren't going to get in the way of it being a good, comforting, pleasant shelter while she takes this next step and starts what she is calling her "first big girl job."
