Well, it has been an eventful few days, and I'm not sure my thoughts are all that organized about it.
The day is sunny and clear and beautiful. It was a little chilly this morning, but has warmed up enough that it is going to be really pretty for my walk.
Beverly has an interview this morning that she is anxious about, as she would really love the job, but the good news is that she has the interview.
Kennedy has two big projects due today, so we didn't get to see her this weekend, but we did get a text.
Andrew and Annette called Saturday to check on me, and when I said they could come to Firefly to see us Sunday, I could hear Skyler in the background saying, "Yes!"
Andrew came out to check on me Thursday morning before he went to work, and Annette came out Thursday afternoon. Said she just wanted to see me herself. She came with goodies --- poppy seed chicken, and chicken salad and pimento cheese and cookies and cheese cake.
Beverly called yesterday evening and we got to visit some.
Evan and Chelsea came over with Jaden and James. James smiled a lot after he woke up and Jaden had a good time playing in the back yard. He was especially intrigued with the door knob --- after I pointed to the numbers and said their names he kept touching them and wanting to hear the names. Evan and Barry had fun in Barry's office with the 3D printer.
Zak and Vivian came out Thursday night. They went to Quickley's and got supper for all of us and they brought me some flowers. We were expecting bad storms so I didn't let them stay for very long, but it was fun to see them. Zak said they may be getting a new piece of equipment where he works and that he might be in charge of operating it.
Morgan came to see me on her lunch break and brought flowers and candy and princess bandages "because you always got them for us." We got to visit a little bit, and that was fun.
Brittany sent a text to check me, as did Amber and Rodney and JA.
We've gotten to talk to Angela and Tori a couple of times. Angela is still battling the flu and they both still have a bad cough.
Beverly and JA went to a baseball game. She said they got to go to four places in one day, which never would have been possible in San Francisco.
Beth and Rodney went to Discovery Park.
My whole family made me feel their love and care after my fall. Barry has been taking tender care of me, tucking me in, pulling up the covers, washing my hair.
Also, we got to spend our first night at Firefly Saturday night! The moon was rising just as we pulled up. Red and huge and beautiful!
