Someone left some flowers on my door, but no one has said who it was. They are very pretty!

Had a little text visit with Brittany. She posted about a man at their church who had passed away, and how strong the woman's faith must be, visible in her reaction. I sent her a message and told her about what Grandmother, the night of Granddad's funeral, removing her earrings and saying, "I'm going to go to sleep and thank God for all the good years that we had together."

Heard from Beverly. She is safe from the flooding that is near her.

Tori and Angela called, and so we got to visit for a minute. It was fun to hear their voices.

Beverly told me that Tori had gotten a promotion, so Tor and I talked about that. She is a Technical Architect. "Someone who takes the requirements and designs what needs to happen in the code to make it work." A developer implements the design. She said now she will be doing architecture and development. She and Josh had gone out to dinner and went and bought some brownie mix while they were out and called when they got home. He had his "elevator review," and it went well.

Kennedy came over Wednesday night and she and Barry spent yesterday setting up the 3D printer. They printed an octopus and a hand grenade. She was really cute, excited about it, and they were both happy. They went to the bee meeting and afterwards talked to them a little about their website. I chose to keep working in the office and made some headway out there.

Shawn stopped by to pick up the waders and I got a big hug! He said, "I miss you, Grannie!"

Little text with Tyler.

Heard from Chris.

Called home and got to talk to Daddy a little bit.

Called home to tell Nana and Granddad "Happy Valentine's Day." Turns out that when Daddy was pushing his plane in the hanger Tuesday, something that he always does, he felt something go wrong in his calf muscle. "Like a charlie horse," he said. He's been to the doctor, Tests have been run. Not a blood clot, but doctor has not called with test results.

Daddy says, "I haven't been doing very well about Valentines Day this year." I tell him that I have the card he sent me a couple of years ago in my desk cubbyholes, and see it whenever I do my work. I tell him that I know he's thinking about me. And he says, in a father's gentle and reassuring voice, "You don't ever have to worry about that."
