 Barry and I drove down to Firefly last night. The pier is about two poles away from the deck, and it was exciting to see that progress. You can see all the way around the point from that far out. We went to the Pelican for dinner and I asked if I could put the Serve It Up With Love tennis card on their community bulletin board. The lady was very kind and lent me some tape and didn't seem put out at all. 

 The tennis meeting went well. I'm not sure I handled the "pick the colors for the T-Shirt logo" just right, but I think overall people were pretty happy. 

 Beth seems to have had a good visit and made it back safely to Houston. 

 Kennedy drove over last night and will be with us till Friday night. 

 Sent Andrew a text letting him know that I'd heard from Mark about their visit in California --- that Mark had said he's a fine young man, and considered his time with Andrew to be his birthday present -- Andrew said he'd enjoyed the time, too.

 Got a Valentine from Annette this morning. 

 Beth treated Papa and I to supper Tuesday night, with Zak and Vivian. Zak and Viv are excited about their trip to see Zak's friend in Europe. 

 Got to text visit with Beverly a little bit this morning. She started working early this a.m.

 Got a hug text from Angela  yesterday, and heard from Tori. Tor says she's been busy, and is looking forward to the weekend. 

 Had a sweet text conversation with Beth this morning.

March 27, 2019 I have delivered our Wyatt personal tax paperwork to Taylor's office.  Walked with Bertice.  Did a little writing that I found fulfilling. Got a text from Kennedy --- she said she has some good news. Heard from Morgan. She is going to be off on Fridays from now on and is going to come volunteer with me on Friday.  Noah's team won yesterday.  Evan and Chelsea and Jaden and James came over last night. James gave big smiles and is holding his head up strongly. Jaden just enjoyed running around in the back yard, throwing the ball. He loves jumping down from the fireplace and looking at each one of us to make sure that we are each clapping. At one point, he came and got each one of us by the hand and took us back to the family room so that we could play the game again.  Evan starts as Assistant Manager next week.

June 27, 2019 Amber sent me a text to let me know she received her birthday cards. She said, "Thank you so much for my bday cards. It made my day getting them, especially the one from second Sunday. I have been homesick since I can't be home for my birthday. I love you, Grannie!"  Heard from Andrew and Skyler and Tori and Kennedy. Tori and Josh were getting ready to play an online game with Josh's brother. Kennedy said they had a little hiccup in their presentation, but that they got through it.

July 8, 2019 Morgan's post on Facebook How is our tiny perfect human 9 months old already? 19.8 lbs of thick thighs n big blue eyes. Davis is so much more than we ever could’ve dreamed up. He’s spunky and hilarious, feisty and persistent. He amazes me every single day. This month he slept through the night for the first time  🙌🏽 We’re up to 6 teeth and the cutest toothy smile ever. Baby shark do do do do do do. He’s standing up on his own and I swear will be taking off walking soon. He loves pushing his truck around and walking behind it. This wild child is into every thing and could sit in his swing under the house for hours if I’d let him. He started swim lessons and is learning how to float like a big boy on his back. He said his first words, bye bye bye bye bye, and brought big ol elephant tears into this mamas eyes.
