I finished my little art book! It was a surprise because I hadn't looked ahead to see how many pages were left. Mission accomplished! 

 Barry and I went to the Brazilian steak house last night. We think next time, we might just do the salad bar. There is really a lot on it. Monday nights are comparatively quiet, which made it nice. 

 Beth came over at 8:30 yesterday morning and the three of us rode down to Firefly and enjoyed the pier and beach. There was a place in the sand where bird tracks and puppy tracks came together and looked like it had caused one of them to make a big wet spot. That cracked her up!

 Morgan met us at Waffle House for lunch. She usually goes to see Davis, and usually goes to her car to feed him, and it was rainy, so she didn't really want to do that. 

 Evan and Chelsea came over last night with the boys, so we got to hold James and play with Jaden. Evan said his managing shifts had gone well, even if it did include a small setback. (Something about a report.) Jaden likes to play chase, and he gave me kisses. 

 Mark sent me a text "Just spent a couple of enjoyable hours with Andrew in Anaheim. He is a fine young man." He added, "I can see why you would be proud of Andrew. I'm considering my time spent with him today as my birthday gift." 

 Heard from Brittany. She is doing some sidework with Annette while she waits to hear back from her interviews. She said, "I got the edits from the graduate school today so I can turn it in and be done!" 

 Amber sent me a text --- "Hi Grannie (heart) the past week has been a busy one, filled with interviews and an awesome concert. I have some great news, I landed my first big girl job at ATI Physical Therapy. It has been an exciting week but I am looking forward to warmer days."

March 27, 2019 I have delivered our Wyatt personal tax paperwork to Taylor's office.  Walked with Bertice.  Did a little writing that I found fulfilling. Got a text from Kennedy --- she said she has some good news. Heard from Morgan. She is going to be off on Fridays from now on and is going to come volunteer with me on Friday.  Noah's team won yesterday.  Evan and Chelsea and Jaden and James came over last night. James gave big smiles and is holding his head up strongly. Jaden just enjoyed running around in the back yard, throwing the ball. He loves jumping down from the fireplace and looking at each one of us to make sure that we are each clapping. At one point, he came and got each one of us by the hand and took us back to the family room so that we could play the game again.  Evan starts as Assistant Manager next week.

June 27, 2019 Amber sent me a text to let me know she received her birthday cards. She said, "Thank you so much for my bday cards. It made my day getting them, especially the one from second Sunday. I have been homesick since I can't be home for my birthday. I love you, Grannie!"  Heard from Andrew and Skyler and Tori and Kennedy. Tori and Josh were getting ready to play an online game with Josh's brother. Kennedy said they had a little hiccup in their presentation, but that they got through it.

July 8, 2019 Morgan's post on Facebook How is our tiny perfect human 9 months old already? 19.8 lbs of thick thighs n big blue eyes. Davis is so much more than we ever could’ve dreamed up. He’s spunky and hilarious, feisty and persistent. He amazes me every single day. This month he slept through the night for the first time  🙌🏽 We’re up to 6 teeth and the cutest toothy smile ever. Baby shark do do do do do do. He’s standing up on his own and I swear will be taking off walking soon. He loves pushing his truck around and walking behind it. This wild child is into every thing and could sit in his swing under the house for hours if I’d let him. He started swim lessons and is learning how to float like a big boy on his back.
